Hamilton Beach food processors are great for busy cooks at home who are preparing meals for a large family, especially the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth food processors that have a good size chute. You don’t have to cut the vegetables into smaller sizes to fit!
The good points of these food processors also include their powerful motors to shred, cut and slice anything within seconds, and their relatively affordable price in the same category of food processors.
The reviews for Hamilton Beach food processors are mostly positive; the users are satisfied with the value given considering the price, but also mentioned a couple of things that they don’t quite like, such as a gap between the chute and the blades that will leave chunks of food unprocessed, and noise.
Here are my Hamilton Beach food processor reviews:
Hamilton Beach 70450 Food Processor
This Hamilton Beach 70450 comes in a space-saving design for the smaller counter tops. The 8-cup capacity is good for any medium size family, and the 300-watt motor is powerful.
For a medium food processor, I’m really impressed with this one. I think it’s sturdily built – the base is a strong foundation for the bowl, which shows that the company put a lot of thought in the craftsmanship of the food processor. The blades are sharp and thick, not the cheap thin gauge metal that can easily bend and break.
If you are constantly experimenting with recipes, you will find the On/Off/Pulse switch a great feature when you need a constant hand on the mixture. The response of the button is quick unlike most machines. Using the pulse button, you can chop your vegetables to the size you need.
Hamilton Beach 70590 Food Processor
Powerful and affordable, this Hamilton Beach Food Processor 70590 has a large 14-cup bowl that can prepare a meal for a huge family in no time at all! The Big Mouth food processor is great when you need an appliance that will help you feed a huge family in the least amount of time. The huge feed chute is great as it can fit a whole onion/tomato/potato and still able to chop it up evenly!
I love this model that it is both powerful and affordable. It is dishwasher safe, the motor is quiet and it doesn’t wobble around while it works thanks to its suction feet, but is rather tall so think about storage space. If you make small amounts of food, this food processor is not for you!
Hamilton Beach 70670 Chef Prep Food Processor
In terms of pricing and value for money, I think Hamilton Beach 70670 takes the win. However, its performance is not as great as the first model I mentioned. This model is great for light usage and used for softer food. The two disk blades that comes in the box are reversible and are able to make distinctly different cuts and slices. They are sharp, easy to attached, removed and clean. While it is efficient, it can be a little bit too noisy for some people.
